The groups name So.Weiss, echoed in the title of the piece So White, derives from a line of dramatic dialogue between Lady Macbeth and her husband just after the latter has killed the king and his unscrupulous wife wants to wash away his feelings of guilt a symbolic scene for just this fluctuation between light and dark that in the course of the album journeys between Scandinavia, old Britain and young Berlin.

Joo Kraus „Sueno“ (2008 edel)
Sueno wurde größtenteils im November 2007 im altehrwürdigen Egrem-Studio in Havanna auf Kuba aufgenommen. Joo Kraus und sein Arrangeur bzw. Pianist Ralf Schmid trafen hier auf sieben kubanische Musiker, wiw u.a. Luis Frank. In Deutschland kam dann die Stimme der Deutsch-Finnin Kristiina Tuomi hinzu. Im Oktober 2008 wurde „Sueno“ bei edel records veröffentlicht. Seither tourt Joo Kraus mit dem Projekt durch ganz Europa.
